Mr. Xiaohuan Tang is the founder of HANAQ Group. He worked as Chief Operating Officer at Wealth Minerals Canada, responsible for its mining projects in South America. He was General Manager in Jinzhao Mining Perú for the development of Pampa del Pongo project, one of the biggest iron ore projects in South America. This 3000MUSD CAPEX project was developed from greenfield exploration to Bankable Feasibility Study completed and Environmental Impact Study approved. The project was purchased for 100MUSD and was successfully sold for 800MUSD. He also worked at Standard Bank, area of structured mining finance for mining projects in South America. Prior to Standard Bank, he was a consultant for the British Foreign & Commonwealth Office of South America. Apart from his experience in South America, Mr. Tang has also explored different mining projects in Central America
He is a director at Wealth Minerals and MAPEAL Macau. He is also a member of Chatham House and the Inter-American Dialogue. Mr. Tang received his BEng from Tsinghua University in China. He also holds MSc. from Imperial College London, MSc from Oxford University and MPhil from Cambridge University. Chinese is his mother language. He is fluent in English and Spanish. He also speaks Quechua at basic level.
David qualified in February 1993, after obtaining an Honours Degree in Law from Standford University. Since then he has specialised exclusively in family law.
